To ensure your installation goes smoothly, please read the following information in advance.

We provide the following installation, set-up & removal services

  • Connection of wet appliances - £20-25. Connection of freestanding washing machines, washer dryers and dishwashers
  • Connection of electric cookers - £49.
  • Connection of electric range cookers - £75.
  • Connection of built-in electric ovens and hobs - £75.
  • Set-up service for televisions - £40
  • Disconnection of wet appliances - £10. Disconnection of freestanding washing machines, washer dryers and dishwashers only
  • Disconnection of electric cookers - £20  Built-in and freestanding
  • Unpack and removal of all rubbish - £5
  • Removal of standard appliances - £25. Laundry appliances, Cookers, Refrigeration, Built-in appliances, Dishwashers and Televisions
  • Removal of large appliances - £35. Range cookers and American fridge freezers
  • Installation Bundle** - £40-55. Disconnect, install & remove old appliance & rubbish.  ** for freestanding washing machines, washer dryers and dishwashers

As part of our installation bundle we will:

  • Safely disconnect your old appliance - apart from gas or dual fuel appliances
  • Unpack your new appliance removing and recycle all packaging
  • Place your appliance neatly in the allotted space and level accordingly
  • Test the appliance to ensure it works
  • Answer any questions you may have

We will not:

  • Make any alterations to existing plumbing or electrical connections
  • Connect the appliance if it puts the installer or customer at risk
  • Plumb two waste pipes into one waste connection
  • Connect the appliance if it does not meet safety guidelines
  • Make any alterations to kitchen units

As part of our set-up service we will:

  • Discuss where you would like your Television positioned
  • Disconnect your existing Television, and unbox and check your new one
  • Attach the Television to the stand or legs supplied in the box - we do not install/attach the Television to the wall
  • Connect and tune in the Television (provided you have the right cables or suitable aerial connection) and connect to one new or existing equipment
  • Connect the Television to your existing internet connection - please have your Wifi password available
  • Test the Television to ensure it works
  • Answer any questions you may have

Electrical connections

  • Please check you have the space for your new appliance and there are no obstructions - width, depth and height
  • Please check that you have the correct supply outlet for the appliance you have chosen, that it is within 1.5 meters of the required location.
  • Please check that the 'Hot Zone' must be free from - Power points, Plug sockets, Wallpaper, Cupboards, Shelving and anything that is not fire retardant. Otherwise we may not be able to complete the installation.
  • Please make sure that you or someone responsible is there to sign for the installation

Wet connections

  • Please check you have the space for your new appliance and there are no obstructions - width, depth and height
  • Please check that there is an accessible electrical socket within 1.5 meters of the required location
  • Please check that you have the right plumbing and waste connections within 1.5 meters of the required location, and there are no obstructions to the connection point. Otherwise we may not be able to complete the installation
  • Please make sure that you or someone responsible is there to sign for the installation
